Day 01: Arrival in Kalimpong
Upon your arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, our representative will meet and greet you. You will then be transferred to Kalimpong, situated at an elevation of 4,091 ft. Check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight stay in Kalimpong.
Day 02: Kalimpong Sightseeing – Transfer to Gangtok
After breakfast, embark on a half-day tour of Kalimpong from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM. Visit the picturesque attractions of Deolo Hill, Dr. Graham’s Homes, Golf Garden, Zang Dhok Palri Monastery, Durpin Monastery, and Flower Nurseries. In the afternoon, transfer to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim, located at an altitude of 5,480 ft. Check in to your hotel in Gangtok and relax. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 03: Excursion to Changu Lake & Baba Mandir
After breakfast, get ready for an exciting excursion to Changu Lake (12,312 ft.) and Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.). These beautiful destinations are located 55 km from Gangtok and offer breathtaking views. The excursion starts at 7:30 AM and ends at 3:30 PM. You also have the option to arrange a visit to Nathula Pass (Alt 14,000 ft.) on the China-India border at an additional cost. Please note that Nathula Pass permits are subject to availability and once issued, they are non-refundable. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Day 04: Gangtok Local Sightseeing – Transfer to Darjeeling
In the morning, from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, embark on a half-day tour of Gangtok city. Explore the enchanting attractions of Bakthang Falls, Gonjang Monastery, Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tok, and the Flower Show. Afterward, drive to Darjeeling, known as the Queen of the Hills, located at an altitude of 7,100 ft. Check in to your hotel in Darjeeling and enjoy the evening at your leisure. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 05: Darjeeling Sightseeing
Wake up early at 4:00 am and head to Tiger Hill to witness the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga, the world’s third-highest peak. On your way back, visit the Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast, proceed to explore the famous attractions of Darjeeling, including the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, the Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays), Tenzing Rock, the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (closed on Sundays), Tea Gardens (outer view), the Japanese Temple, and the Peace Pagoda.
The sightseeing tour will last approximately 4 hours, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Enjoy the evening at your leisure. You also have the option to take an additional Toy Train Joy Ride at your own expense. (Tickets can be booked online through IRCTC {From – DJ To – DJRZ}, and cab waiting charges would be applicable if required). Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 06: Departure from Darjeeling
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey. Your memorable Kalimpong, Gangtok & Darjeeling tour concludes here.
Inclusion
- Point-to-point sightseeing: All sightseeing activities will be conducted as per the mentioned itinerary, ensuring that you visit all the designated attractions.
- Transfer and Sightseeing: The package includes all necessary transfers and sightseeing activities. You will be provided with comfortable transportation throughout your journey.
- Vehicle Type: For groups of 4-7 people (including children), a Xylo/Innova or a similar vehicle will be provided. These vehicles are spacious and suitable for a comfortable journey.
- For groups of 1-3 people (including children), a WagonR or a similar vehicle will be provided. These vehicles are ideal for a small group or individual travelers.
- Meal Plan: The package includes a meal plan of CP (Continental Plan), which includes breakfast only. You will be provided with breakfast at your accommodation.
- Accommodation: You will be accommodated in twin-sharing rooms, ensuring that you share a room with another person in your group. This arrangement offers comfort and convenience during your stay.
Exclusion
- Goods and Service Tax (GST): The package cost does not include any applicable Goods and Service Tax (GST) charges. These charges will be additional and as per government regulations.
- Supplement cost for MAP & AP on request: If you prefer to upgrade your meal plan to MAP (Modified American Plan) or AP (American Plan), additional charges will apply. These charges are not included in the package cost and can be arranged upon request.
- Camera tickets at various places of sightseeing/tour: Any entry fees or camera tickets required at specific attractions during sightseeing or tours are not included in the package cost. Guests will need to purchase these tickets separately, if applicable.
- Personal expenses: Expenses of a personal nature such as telephone calls, fax, internet usage, laundry, and any other similar expenses are not included in the package cost. These expenses will be the responsibility of the guest.
- Monumental entry tickets, etc.: Entry tickets to monuments, museums, or any other specific attractions are not included in the package cost. Guests will need to purchase these tickets separately, if required.
- Airfare/train fare: The package cost does not include the cost of airfare or train tickets to reach the destination. Guests are responsible for arranging their own transportation to the starting point of the tour.
- Extra costs due to natural calamities or political disturbances: Any additional expenses incurred due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural calamities (e.g., landslides, road blockages) or political disturbances (e.g., strikes) are not included in the package cost. These costs will be borne by the guest at the time of occurrence.
- Any increase in taxes and fuel prices: In case of any increase in taxes, fuel prices, or any other government-imposed charges, the additional costs will be borne by the guest.
- Anything not included in the inclusions: Any other expenses or services not specifically mentioned in the inclusions section of the itinerary are not included in the package cost.
