If I could, I would relive all the beautiful moments I spent in North Sikkim. This trip with my closest buddies will always be my favorite trip. I was going through some of the photos that we clicked during the trip, which is when I decided to write this Thrillophilia review of the North East trip.
It was clear that we wanted to go to northeast India. However, there are so many amazing destinations within the North East that it took us a long time to finally decide on North Sikkim. Once it was decided, it was all easy and quick planning. We simply booked a North Sikkim package that we felt was best for us and left the rest on Thrillophilia. We booked the ‘Highlights of North Sikkim’ package which was for 6 days and 5 nights. To our surprise, the package cost us way less than what we had expected.
The booking process only required us to submit our details and transfer the money. I booked a few packages from different sites earlier and by far this company has the easiest booking process.
Our trip in a summary
Our adventure began in the beautiful city of Gangtok. The first day was at leisure so we explored a few places on our own. We visited the Rumtek Monastery, Enchey Monastery, Hanuman Tok, and Gonjang Monastery. It was turning out to be a more spiritual day so we decided to change it by visiting Reshi Hot Spring. Luckily, the time we visited the hot spring there was no one around so we peacefully enjoyed a relaxing bath as if it was our private swimming pool.
Another day in Gangtok, we explored Tsomgo Lake, Tashi Viewpoint, and Ban Jhakri Falls. On this day, we also enjoyed a fun ropeway ride, soaking in the beautiful views of the city.
The next city that we visited was Lachen where we got to see the beautiful Lachen Chu and Lachung Chu rivers. On day 4, we drove to Lachung where we visited Gurudongmar Lake and Bhim Nala Waterfalls. The most fun part was when we tried to get into the waters of the fall. However, unlike the hot spring, this water was extremely cold so we got out immediately.
On day 5, we went back to Gangtok. We explored the beautiful Yumthang Valley. In the evening, we visited Lal Bazaar which, as per the Thrillophilia North East trip reviews, was the best place for shopping.
Sadly, our trip came to an end and we left for the airport. On our way back, I tried my best to capture all the beautiful scenery. Even before I left the place, I started to miss it.
Thrillophilia does wonders!
It is no surprise to me that this trip was a great hit. After all, we booked the package from one of the best online traveling companies. They have an attractive website where you will find so many package options that will confuse you. But don’t worry, you always have fantastic customer service to help you figure out what you want.
Also, they are known for offering one of the best possible stays under your budget. The driver was also our tour guide who had good knowledge of the places. He was also patient enough to wait for us whenever we wanted to stop to take pictures. Thrillophilia also adds a little personal touch by calling you in the middle of your trip to confirm if everything is running smoothly.
This company has helped me create beautiful memories with my loved ones. Hence, this North East trip review is a small thank you from my end for their amazing services.
